Hair On The Air takes you back to the years 1980-1999.  Every week, for 60 minutes, DC plays music from the bands that lived during those "hair metal" years. Call it "hair metal" or "glam rock" or just "rock and roll"... we love the music and bring you the rock each week on great stations worldwide.  We also may play new songs from those bands still making music from those glorious rock and roll times!

Started in 2016 as Wayne was frustrated that so much great muisc wasn't getting any airplay. Initialy it was mostly an underground punk show but as Waynes confidence and the reach of the showgrew, Wayne expanded to cover a wider range of sounds. It's a one hour, new released based showcovering all aspects of the alternative music scene.

Matt Craig was one of those fans who grew up in the shadow of New York City listening and loving this great radio station, and it certainly had an effect on his musical tastes. Matt never forgot those heady days, and now, all these years later, he’s taken his obsession for it and turned it into his own weekly radio program. No, it’s not the original station, there’s no way to duplicate that, instead, it’s Matt’s vision of what New York’s Best Rock could have been if it lived on beyond 1983.
